James E. White, Sr.

 

Pastor James E. White is a native of Anderson, South Carolina . A graduate of the Evangel Bible College, Spartanburg, SC, Pastor White was ordained Elder in 1982 and appointed as pastor of the Upper Room Church of God In Christ in Greenville, SC.  In 1983 he was appointed Chairman of the Ordination Committee for the South Carolina Jurisdiction by the late Bishop H. Jenkins Bell.

 

 In 1985 Pastor White resigned his positions as both pastor and Chairman to fill one of the most important roles of his life, to raise his three children, James Earl II, Carlo and Lawana.  His experience as a single father impacted his life so, that he is devoted and dedicated to ministering to the single parent and families.  

 

Pastor White served as ministry assistance for over 18 years at the Family Worship Center Church of God In Christ, under Superintendent Derrick W. Hutchins, Sr..  Pastor White remained a intricate until April 2003, when he, along with his wife Deborah launched out to plant the RHEMA Christian Center Church.
